Welcome to Smiths Handyman & Building Services. My name is Scott and I have worked in the Building Trade for over 15 years. As a Plasterer to trade, I have worked locally for various Building Contractors where I have developed a variety of skills which has allowed me to progress as an all round Handyman catering for your every day DIY needs. I can carry out any General Building, Joinery, Plastering or Plumbing works or just those "I'll get to that later job" to accommodate your individual needs. We also cater for Landords / Housing Associations who require a one stop shop for their maintenance issues. All works Fully insured!

PRICE GUIDE
Small jobs and flat pack are priced Per hour First 2hrs(minimum) £70 then £25ph after
Bigger jobs i.e. plastering building alteration's require Pricing
ROUGH GUIDE:
Flat pack
Assemble a Three drawer unit ………1- 2 hours
Assemble a Two Door Wardrobe….…2- 3 hours
Assemble a Dining room table……….1-2 hours
Assemble a Dining room chair………..30minutes-1 hour
Blinds/Curtains
Fitting Made-to-measure blinds takes 15-20 minutes for each blind.
Blinds that need to be cut to size, 30-45 minutes to cut and fit.
Hanging pictures, mirrors, and alike
Items hung from a cord will take on average 5 minutes each.
Pictures, paintings or mirrors without a cord 15-30 minutes.
Exceptionally Large, heavy or complex items may take .30 minutes-1 hour.

Electrics
Replace existing light fittings, switches and sockets. 15-45 min depending on the size.
Plumbing
Replace sink Taps……………………………….... 30minutes-1 hour

Fitting Washing Machines or Dishwashers…….. 1- 1.5 hours
if a skip is required £160 (midi skip)
